Luxury Lodges and Camps
Kwai River Lodge
is also situated in the Moremi Game Reserve. This is one of the oldest camps, and boasts fifteen luxury tents.
Stanley’s Camp
has high game density, night drives and armed bush walks. This camp (as its name hints) aims at creating a colonial feel.
Chitabe Camp
is a dry camp. It is known for its extensive game viewing, accentuated by the night drives that are on offer. The game is viewed from wooden decks and shady walkways, creating the feeling of being in a luxurious tree house.
Land Based Lodges/camps:
Chief’s Camp
is a camp located on an island in the Moremi Game Reserve. This is a great camp for game viewing and birdlife. The drives on offer (morning and afternoon) are famous for predator spotting.
~Kwai River Lodge has wonderful views stretching over the Kwai floodplains.
Water Based Lodges:
Camp Okavango
is situated in the permanent swamps north in the delta.
Xugana Island Lodge
is situated in a forest overlooking a lagoon. Hippos, frogs, bush walks, boating and moroko trips are some of the features of this old delta lodge.
Luxury Tented Camps
Most of the accommodation in the delta is tented. However, these are luxurious walk-in tents with cool thatch roves. Because of the unpredictability of the delta, most of the accommodation is off the ground.
Eagle Island Camp
Is a luxurious tented camp with twelve air- conditioned walk-in tents with air conditioning, four poster beds and mini bars! They also boast large bathrooms and private decks.
